This membership option is for departments to get their whole team involved. When municipalities do not have Parks and Recreation managed within one department, these two divisions should be combined under one agency membership. Agencies that are not a park and recreation department, such as therapeutic recreation agencies, educational institutions, and state parks, should just consider the number of full-time employees specifically serving or providing support for recreation and park functions within their agency. This must include office managers, secretarial staff, etc.

Only full-time employees can be included in an agency membership. Agencies wishing to have an agency membership must stay within the “level” according to the actual amount of full-time employees at the agency. For example, a park and recreation department of therapeutic recreation agency can’t get a small agency membership if they have 50 full-time departmental employees. Verification of number of employees may be required in order to receive an agency membership.
